Purpose: 
SPEER encourages the adoption of advanced building systems and energy efficient products and services in the South-central U.S.
Description: 
The South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER) is a nonprofit organization involved in regional projects to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in the built environment. Their four main program areas are policy, local government, high performance buildings, and energy codes. Members participate in working groups and initiatives that create strong networks and inform participants of recent developments in energy efficiency policies, products, and services.
