Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program
Purpose:
PACE provides low-cost, long-term loans to commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential property owners for the purpose of implementing water conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable retrofits.
Description:
The Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing program can be used to pay for permanent efficiency improvements, such as HVAC upgrades, renewable energy systems, wastewater recovery and reuse systems, and high efficiency irrigation equipment. More information on program implementation can be found on the websites of the Texas PACE Authority and Keeping PACE in Texas. Furthermore, the City of Dallas is one of the first cities in Texas to approve the PACE financing program.
