Increase Building Energy Efficiency Factsheet

The North Central Texas Council of Governments developed two factsheets based on the Department of Energy's Decarbonizing the U.S. by 2050 blueprint. This plan aims to reduce building greenhouse gas emissions by 65% by 2035 and 90% by 2050. The blueprint outlines four key strategic objectives: Increase Building Energy Efficiency, Accelerate On-Site Emissions Reductions, Transform the Grid Edge Performance, and Minimize Embodied Life Cycle Emissions. This factsheet covers Strategic Objective #1: Increase Building Energy Efficiency and its applicability within the NCTCOG region.
