The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), the South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER), and the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) provide an overview of 2020 changes made to the Local Government Energy Reporting form and newly developed resources to aid local governments in meeting the Local Government Energy Reporting requirements. NCTCOG staff discusses a recently developed whitepaper, “Texas’ Mandated Local Government Energy Reduction Goal: Challenges and Best Practices”, staff at SPEER present a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document for the Local Government Energy Reporting form, and SECO staff highlight 2020 updates made to the Local Government Energy Reporting form.
